Three apprentices from Wien Digital achieved a sensational double victory at the Austrian Federal Apprentice Hackathon on October 24, 2023. With their app Disprentice*, Robert Skokic, Dominik Zmuda, and Eren Aydin prevailed against their competitors from renowned Austrian companies, winning both the "Apps4Apprentice - Experts" category and the Community Award (audience vote), thus taking first place in the national finals.

Wien Digital won first place at the Microsoft Power Platform & AI Hackathon (public domain). Within two days, two productive Power Apps were developed independently – without any development assistance, with only the support of partner company Imendo.
The Digital Girls Hackathon Vienna is organized by DigitalCity.Wien and UIV Urban Innovation Vienna on behalf of the City of Vienna and in cooperation with A1 Telekom Austria AG and DaVinciLab.
Apprentices from Wien Digital showcased their talent at the CCC on April 19, 2024. The team "Three and a Half Men," consisting of third- and fourth-year apprentices, performed particularly well, achieving an impressive 7th place out of 154 teams in Vienna and securing an outstanding 47th place out of a total of 756 teams in the global rankings. The first- and second-year teams also performed well, securing respectable positions in the local rankings, placing 118th and 93rd, respectively.
