Conduct research to assist the Section in promoting the entry into force and universalisation of the CTBT;
Research and report on policy developments related to the CTBT;
Supporting Senior External Relations Officers in preparing background documents for meetings and events;
Assistance in preparing reports on meetings and other relevant events;
Support in the preparation of outreach activities such as workshops and seminars;
Assistance in performing logging functions;
Support general preparations for the Section's activities within the framework of the Commission's integrated capacity building and contribute to the content creation for the e-learning platform;
Perform other assigned tasks.

Minimum 18 and maximum 35 years old;
Completed at least two years of full-time study in international relations or a related field;
Applications can be accepted up to two years after completion of a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree;
Strong analytical and research skills;
Solid knowledge of disarmament and non-proliferation and familiarity with international treaties and organizations in these fields;
Experience in writing speeches, briefing notes and interview guides is desirable;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
Knowledge of other official CTBTO languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is desirable.
