Tasks
Act as central point of contact for all financial matters in transactions and strategic initiatives, including identifying key opportunities and risks with a view to long-term value creation, conducting materiality analyses, and developing management recommendations
Manage internal projects including creation of financial models as well as value driver and benchmarking analyses to support strategic and impact analysis as well as perform valuations
Perform detailed financial analysis, including financials, business projections and cash flow modeling to conduct valuations and impact analysis
Conduct market, competition, and business analyses
Manage financial due diligence processes, including gathering and analyzing data, and identifying key risks and opportunities
Manage the impairment testing process of the overall participation portfolio
Have an intrapreneurial mindset and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support seamless process, project, and deal execution. Work collaboratively with other team members on national and international M&A projects
Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards throughout the transaction and participation valuation processes
profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business, administration, or a related field with work experience in banking, finance and/or advisory. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (such as CFA, CPA) are a plus
Previous work experience in a leading consulting, auditing, or professional services firm (e.g., Big 4 or similar) is considered an advantage
Sound analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop insights as well as proficiency in valuation techniques
Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and practices
Pro-activeness, intrapreneurship, ability to adapt to changing situations easily and acting as empathetic team player with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
Pragmatic, result-oriented, independent, and skilled in conflict management
Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial modeling
