As our Junior Mathematician Gaming (m/f/d) you support Game Art Directors in designing and developing engaging game concepts and mechanics within a collaborative environment.
Moreover, you assist in creating and adapting basic mathematical models that translate game design requirements into functional systems.
In addition, you contribute to the development, implementation, and documentation of game logic across several projects at the same time.
You work closely with experienced team members to ensure that mathematical models, gameplay design, and technical implementation are aligned.
Last but not least, you participate in testing and validation processes to help ensure that calculations are correct and the overall player experience works as intended.
profile
Degree in Mathematics or a related field, ideally with focus on combinatorics, probability, or statistics
Initial experience (internships or entry-level roles) in a mathematical or game-related environment is a plus
Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles is beneficial
Good English skills (German is a plus)
Strong analytical mindset with solid Excel skills and attention to detail
Team-oriented, curious, and eager to learn in a creative environment
