Tasks
Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of sophisticated corporate clients, acting as the local point of contact and supporting global relationships
Acquire and develop corporate customers, including commodity-focused clients, in Europe and MENA, identifying financing opportunities in line with department targets
Drive portfolio growth, cross-selling banking products, and contribute to departmental asset size and profitability in line with budget targets
Analyze creditworthiness, support credit package preparation, structure credit limits in line with risk appetite, pricing, and policies
Engage proficiently with customers on corporate and trade finance transactions, including Commodity Trade Finance (CTF), demonstrating strong risk awareness
Monitor customers‘ financial standing, identify early warning signals, and take necessary actions in accordance with internal policies
Initiate risk assessment and continuous monitoring to ensure transactional acceptability and quality
Maintain active client dialogue through regular meetings and represent the bank at industry events and business initiatives
Stay up to date on market developments, sectoral risks, regulatory updates, and commodity price movements

University degree or equivalent education level
Minimum 5 years (preferably 10 years for senior positions) of working experience in Corporate Banking (Large Corporate / Mid-Cap)
Proven experience in managing and growing a corporate client portfolio
Exposure to structured trade finance or commodity finance is considered an advantage
Strong analytical and risk management skills, including financial analysis and credit structuring
Experience in preparing and presenting credit proposals to internal committees
Good understanding of financial and economic developments
Strong communication and social skills
Results-oriented with self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
Willingness to take responsibility and initiative
Active planning and coordination of customer relationships, including client meetings
Excellent presentation and communication skills in English; additional languages (especially German, Russian, Turkish, or French) are an advantage
